Dacia is today announcing the UK pricing for the updated 2026 Sandero will start from £14,765 on-the-road, while the rugged Sandero Stepway will be available from £16,065 on-the-road.
The upgraded line-up goes on sale in the UK from today, offering even greater value for money with a stronger look, the latest technology and improved efficiency across the range. Now, more than ever, Sandero and Sandero Stepway offer greater value for money with a price-to-features ratio that is still unique to the market, with Sandero remaining the UK’s most affordable car.
For 2026, both models gain a refreshed exterior design with Dacia’s new inverted-‘T’ LED light signature and redesigned front and rear bumpers, giving the pair a more modern and robust appearance. The Sandero Stepway further strengthens its adventurous character with additional body protection in Starkle®. Inside, both models benefit from Dacia’s clever YouClip® accessory system, an upgraded 10-inch multimedia screen with enhanced connectivity, and the availability of a wireless smartphone charger. Sandero also introduces a more responsive TCe 100 engine for improved everyday driveability.
Sandero and Sandero Stepway play a key role in the enduring success of Dacia. Sandero is Europe’s best-selling retail car, a position it has held since 2017. In 2024, Sandero was even Europe’s best-selling car across all channels, and the first Dacia to sell more than 300,000 units in a single year (309,392 units, an increase of 14.5% on 2023, including Sandero Stepway which accounts for around two-thirds of the total).
UK RANGE AND PRICING
The new Sandero range is available in three trim levels – Essential, Expression, and Journey – while the Sandero Stepway line-up is crowned by the rugged Extreme.
Priced from £14,765 on-the-road, the Sandero Essential features an impressive list of standard equipment, including cruise control with speed limiter, electric front windows, air conditioning and Dacia’s clever Media Control system, which uses a smartphone and the dedicated Dacia app to create a simple but smart infotainment experience. Essential also includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition with Intelligent Speed Assist, Driver Attention Warning and more.
Stepping up to the Expression trim, available from £15,765 on-the-road, brings a significant uplift in comfort and technology. Highlights include Dacia’s distinctive 16-inch Flex wheels, front fog lights, automatic wipers, electric rear windows, and heated, electrically adjustable door mirrors. Inside, the cabin benefits from enhanced materials and finishes, while infotainment is upgraded to the 10-inch Media Display touchscreen system with wired Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Rear parking sensors and a reversing camera also come as standard.
Sitting at the top of the Sandero line-up, the Journey trim delivers a more premium and feature-rich experience, priced from £17,065 on-the-road. It adds 16-inch alloy wheels, an electronic parking brake, high central armrest with storage, automatic air conditioning, and advanced driver assistance features such as Blind Spot Warning and Extended Grip. Journey also gains a Multiview camera system for improved manoeuvring, while infotainment is upgraded to Dacia’s most sophisticated setup: the 10-inch Media Nav Live system, offering built-in navigation, wireless smartphone replication and wireless smartphone charging.
All Sandero Stepway models gain 16-inch wheels, protective body cladding in Starkle®, and roof bars (modular on Expression and above) as standard, while the Sandero Stepway Extreme adds a distinctive Copper Brown exterior treatment, upgraded MicroCloud/Copper Brown interior trim, and exclusive 16-inch black alloy wheels. Comfort and convenience are boosted with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, and an electronic parking brake with armrest and additional storage. The Extreme also enhances visibility and driver assistance with a Multiview camera system, Blind Spot Warning and Extended Grip, while upgrading infotainment to the 10-inch Media Nav Live system with built-in navigation and wireless smartphone connectivity and charging.
Buyers can choose from nine paint colours in total, including Glacier White, Shadow Grey, Iron Blue, Amber Yellow, and Cedar Green, plus Sandstone and Urban Grey on Sandero, and Pearl Black and Safari Beige on Sandero Stepway.
