Mitchells garage was originally established in Lowestoft before the 2nd World War and in the 1960's operated as Rootes Group agents from the Terminus in London Road Pakefield Lowestoft. The company secured a Renault franchise in 1974.

1979 saw the company move to its current location in Long Road where it has continued to expand. An enlarged customer waiting area and showroom in 2000 plus additional workshops in 2004 has enabled us to offer clients a full range of services. With 8 workshop bays including MOT testing employing 10 Renault qualified technicians. In addition there is also a valeting centre and Renault Rapide centre.

October 2005 saw the opening of a new Renault Minute Centre in Suffolk Road Gorleston Great Yarmouth, offering a fast fit while you wait servicing option, used car sales and showroom. Staffing levels have doubled in just 18 months to cope with an ever increasing customer demand.

Mitchells prides itself in offering customer satisfaction backed by staff with a positive attitude and believes that staff retention plays a huge part in providing a first class service. The company has now won the Renault & Dacia UK dealer of the year awards multiple times thus reinforcing this belief.
