The Renault Megane E-Tech electric is now complementing its zero-emissions-in-use with an equally attractive range of 0% APR representative finance options.

Until 1st July 2024, the all-electric model is available with a choice of 0% APR Representative Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) or Hire Purchase (HP) offers, both of which spread the cost over a four-year payment period.

Applicable across the entire range, the offers are even more appealing with the addition of significant deposit contributions. PCP customers who place a 10% minimum deposit receive a further £1,000 contribution from Renault, while those who finance their new Megane E-Tech electric via HP receive a £4,500 contribution towards a minimum deposit of 40%.

Both finance options make switching to an award-winning, pure-electric vehicle more affordable than many may imagine. This also builds on the OTR cost of all MY25 versions of the Megane E-Tech electric recently being lowered by £500 due to production efficiencies.

Via the 0% APR Representative, four-year PCP deal, the Megane E-Tech electric is available for £307 per monthfollowing a customer deposit of £3,450*. As well as an additional £1,000 deposit contribution, the offer also includes a free Mobilize charge pass card, which provides access to over 24,000 public charge points in UK, unlocking access to the second largest charging network (includes Instavolt, Ionity, Source London, Shell Recharge to name a few). For those customers doing large amounts of motorway driving, there is an option to pay £4.99 a month that unlocks 9% discount across the whole charging network and specifically £0.43p per kWh on Ionity, a saving of £0.35p per kWh.

Alternatively, those PCP customers who place a 25% deposit could get behind the wheel of the Megane E-Tech electric evolution for £199 per month1.

The 0% APR Representative, four-year HP offer sees customers own the Megane E-Tech electric outright for £450 per month following an initial minimum deposit of 40%2.

Motability and fleet customers also benefit from the new offers. There is now no advance payment for Motability customers of the techno MY25 version, while for the top-of-the-range iconic is lowered from £695 to £495 on MY25. Motability will also supply a complimentary wall box or BP Pulse charge card to help customers enjoy a convenient charging experience, while eligible customers who are new to the scheme can receive an additional £750 from the organisation.

Fleet buyers now enjoy a significantly lower monthly payment on the Business Contract Hire (BCH), three-year deal for the flagship iconic version, which is exclusively available with such features as 20-inch enos alloy wheels, titanium F1 blade and around-view 3D camera. With an initial rental of £2,064 plus VAT – which is also lower than before – it is available for £344 plus VAT per month, which is a saving of £68 plus VAT on the previous monthly cost.

The numbers work when it comes to charging the Megane E-Tech electric, too. With the energy cap anticipated to be set at 22.36p per kWh from July, the cost of a full charge is set to fall by 7% to £14.16 which works out at just 5.4p per mile for its official 280-mile range (WLTP). Using a low rate 7.5p per kWh tariff optimises the savings, with a full charge costing £4.50 and equating to only 1.6 per mile.

In comparison, an equivalent petrol car that has a 52-litre fuel tank and achieves 46 mpg would cost £78.52 to fill up at current average pump prices (£1.51 cost per litre), resulting in a cost per mile of 15p per mile.
