
Renault has strengthened the appeal of the award-winning Clio with a streamlined choice of four trims that delivers improved value, comfort and technology across the range, accompanied by a new £17,995 starting price – £1,000 lower than before.
The updated line-up for 2026 introduces four trim levels – generation, techno+, techno esprit Alpine, and iconic esprit Alpine – each designed to meet the needs of UK supermini buyers seeking style, technology and efficiency from one of the nation’s best-loved small cars.
The MY27 Clio range continues with Renault’s proven TCe 90 petrol engine and the highly efficient full hybrid E-Tech 145, delivering standout performance and low running costs. The TCe 90 returns up to 54.3 mpg with CO₂ emissions as low as 118 g/km, while the E-Tech hybrid delivers up to 65.7 mpg and 98 g/km CO₂ (WLTP), reaffirming Clio’s position as one of the most efficient cars in its class.
A refined, simplified line-up
The enhanced Clio range offers customers even greater choice, with the introduction of a new entry-level trim that optimises comfort, efficiency and value. This is joined by two new esprit Alpine trims that blend their sporting character with an array of premium features typically reserved for higher segments.
Priced from only £17,995 OTR, generation offers a generously-equipped entry to the Clio range with key features such as automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera. Inside, a 7-inch EasyLink touchscreen with built-in navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ is joined by a 7-inch digital driver display, ensuring seamless connectivity, while heated electric door mirrors, cruise control with speed limiter, and intelligent speed assist deliver everyday convenience and safety.
Building on the previous techno trim, the new techno+ introduces a richer equipment offering with heated front seats, upgraded black interior trim, and a wireless smartphone charger. A body-colour F1® blade, 17-inch ‘Monastella’ diamond-cut alloy wheels, MULTI-SENSE driving modes with configurable ambient lighting and the option of the efficient full hybrid E-Tech 145 powertrain further strengthen its appeal.
The techno esprit Alpine trim brings a more athletic edge to Clio, inspired by the sporting heritage of Alpine, combining 17-inch esprit Alpine diamond-cut alloy wheels with a matte shadow grey F1® blade and bespoke esprit Alpine exterior detailing. Inside, enveloping esprit Alpine seats with sustainable fabric, synthetic leather detailing, blue stitching and Alpine-inspired motifs are paired with a perforated synthetic leather steering wheel, aluminium pedals and a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror. A larger 9.3-inch EasyLink touchscreen and a 10-inch digital driver display complete the sporty, high-tech specification.
At the top of the range, iconic esprit Alpine – available exclusively with the full hybrid E-Tech 145 powertrain – adds a truly premium layer of technology and comfort. Its 9.3-inch EasyLink system is paired with a Bose 9-speaker premium audio set-up, while a heated, perforated synthetic leather steering wheel and aluminium pedals underline its sporty character. Front, side and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree around-view monitor and hands-free parking make manoeuvres effortless, while adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert further enhance safety and long-distance comfort.
Six body colours are available for the revised Clio range: Glacier White, Ceramic Grey (from stock only), Shadow Grey, Diamond Black, Valencia Orange and Iron Blue.
Orders for the MY27 Renault Clio are open now, with first deliveries expected in early 2026.
